As part of a series of events, the California Fire Prevention Organization joined more than a dozen other local agencies and the Calistoga Fire Department in spending a day teaching fire and life safety to residents. The program, aimed at changing the way people prepare for and respond to emergencies teaches fundamental actions that people can take. From escape and evacuation planning to provided hands-only CPR, more than 130 people stopped and spent time with our educators and public safety officers.
